our story

We hand-make steamed buns and beautiful little steamed yumplings. They are made using the best ingredients - only ever British outdoor reared pork and MSC certified fish, and the freshest British veggies where possible. Yum Bun began life in Hackney's Broadway Market in 2010. Since then we have served our buns at markets around London and our year long pop-up shop in Old Street.

In 2015 we hit the road and took our big yellow bun bus to lots of feasts and festivals. From a very windswept Festival No 6 to a sweltering weekend on Alex James' farm - we've had a lot of adventures!  Along the way we have picked up British Street food awards, featured on many a best street food list and have catered events for clients from the Obvserver Food Magazine awards to Mercedes.  We ran a pop up store in Harvey Nichols before setting down permanent roots at our Street Feast outlets across London.

You can now find us at all week at Giant Robot in Canary Wharf,  and weekends at Dinerama in Shoreditch, and Hawker House in Canada Water.
